You must contact the Department of Health through one of the above methods and request an application. The application will provide all the information you need to know to apply for a license.
To maintain either a LCSW or LICSW you must obtain 30 CE Hours within the licencing period (2 years). Three hours must be in Social Work Professional Ethics and three Hours must be in Cross-Cultural Practice to include the alleviation of oppression.
Rhode Island law requires that you submit you license renewal application by the 15th of April prior to the expiration of your license. On the application you must state that you have obtained all your CE Hours therefore you must have completed these hours by April 15.
