COST OF THE IRAQ WAR

The Iraq war has certainly been costly in terms of lives lost, with thousands of U.S. military personnel dead and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed. In addition, the economic costs of the war are far greater than people imagine, with more than $1 trillion spent in the first four years of the war.

Every day the war continues $720 million is added to this tally.
