RI Protest Against Prop 8
In conjunction with the entire United States, Rhode Island participated in a huge rally in support of civil marriage,
gay rights, and policy against Proposition 8 in California! The protest was a huge success with about 500 people that advocated against
denying civil marriage.
Rick Harris, Executive Director spoke and was able to collect over 200 signatures for the Traveling Proclamation
for Civil Marrige. MSW Intern from RIC, Amanda Sagarin also attended.
